Description
I'm just above sea level here, but today we got snow!! It was raining, and cold, and then I looked out the window and it was snowing!! We all go a little crazy when that happens, teeny little snow creatures appear, kids get out anything that resembles a sled, and it doesn't matter if there's all of an inch or so of the white stuff!! It's SNOW!!! This is a plant on a fence post, just sitting there, getting cold!!

Fantastic shot.
I've been watching the weather on TV tonight and, gosh, it's not over yet up that way. I know the wind is cutting through here and lots of cold, large drops of rain is still falling for us. Burrrrrrrrrr, stay warm. This really illustrates the chill and the colors are amazingly clean and exciting.
this shows off just how cold it must be where you are marilyn .its very strange the weather this year ,we have become quite mild again and really we should be near freezing ..excellent capture my friend :o)
Awwww poor plant lol. and what a fantastic capture of it!
I'm so surprised, I imagined year long summer where you are!
I think the world is rotating on a different axis, as like Mick says we are having it mild compared with what we usually have at this time of year. I love the snow, its the cold that it brings with it that I don't like. Excellent capture Marilyn, lovely colouring on the flowers. Bravo!!!!!
Oh, and doesn't this snow add so much to the objects upon which it falls. This is a super shot, Marilyn. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Wonderful snow shot! I love the way the ice is forming on the blades of grass. I need to get out and take some snow pics this morning, but right now it's so nice and warm in here, and I think, "just a few more minutes!"
So wonderful photograph!
Excellent shot!!!!
Very Nice!!!
great capture of the mood....sure looks cold
Those are real ice crystals in this shot, s'now kidding! Fine eye level capture of the valiant flora, fighting for its very existence in the frigid temperatures. Also, good clarity and textural effects!
Very realistic work! Excellent lighting...
Uuuuuu, that's what we got Thursday last week. I don't like ice, snow OK, Ice No Way!!! Nice shot of this disaster on the plant!!!
WOW...this is a beautiful shot! The contrast between the still living plant and the flecks of slushy ice are fantastic. You've captured a great sense of color as well. Fantastic work.
