good morning all :o).. this shot was taken in june 2004 whilst on holiday at peppermint park ,dawlish in devon .its of ashleigh my grandaughter who was three at the time she is now seven .it was taken with a fuji a101 in my point and shoot days and it always everytime i look at this pic reminds me of the film the sound of music ,hence the title :o).. hopefully i will get out today to get some pics as the weather is a little better today . have a fantastic sunday and thanks for looking mick

Super photo of your gorgeous little grandaughter. I love the way her hand has pointed outwards as if at the last moment of realising she was being photographed, she just does enough for a pose. Oh and thanks for the comment on my last upload Mick, I found myself quite emotional and overwhelmed by peoples support.

Even point and shoot you have ended up with a great shot Mick, Ashleigh looks full of energy(don't they all at that age) the greenery and blue sky make this a beauty of a photograph. The boats in the bay in the background add a bit more interest to it as well. Great shot, fantastic location, and a top model. Bravo!!!!!

Beautiful capture! Having been to Salzburg where they shot that film, so we can also enjoy our own "Sound of Music" almost anywhere, too, and at home. Excellent idea. :o)
