Description
"This is the first morning of the rest of your life." ~~~~~
Yesterday I got a raise at my job -- been working there 10 years. It was not the first raise, but it was the first in a while. Today I've spent 37 years on this planet. Here's hoping I get at least 37 more, and that my good luck holds out for the rest of year! Thank you all for visiting my gallery, for your comments and for your friendship. It means a lot to me. -----
Thanks for your goosey comments on my previous upload,

Happy birthday Kort and what a great way to start the year with a raise, and the day always starts well with a beautiful sunrise. Wonderful colouring.
wonderful shot of the sunset
Magnificent I say, magnificent! That goes for both the photo and you getting a raise. Terrific color blending and contrasts in this shot, Kort! Oh, and have a very happy birthday, ol buddy! Incidentally, the only time I get a pay raise is when the Social Security Administration throws me a bone at 2.5% a year, which is then immediately eaten up by annual Home Owner's Association fee increases. Like running on a treadmill.
Happy Birthday, Kurt! And take care: now you know that 37 years pass so fast! :)
