Beautiful scenery. Great capture.
Joyce Kilmer. 1886–1918 Trees I THINK that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the sweet earth's flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, 5 And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. 10 Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Always a favorite poem of mine. Nice capture and pleasant thoughts for a winter morn~ Deb~
Why this tree? It is a nice one though. I think I'd like to be an evergreen -- never lose my leaves. Or better yet, a palm, and always enjoy the warm weather!
Awesome capture, composition and poem. Beautifully done. A perfect choice of a tree - new clothes every year.
Lol, TwoPynts, because it was late and I was being silly, if I had to choose it would probably be an Orange or a Eucalyptus tree, because they remind me most of 'home' (California) And Deb, I saw your comment on my bridge photo, and if you would like directions I can send them to you, heck I'll even meet you there, I want to go back in the spring to see the colors. You would pass right by the barn and horse that I posted pictures of. Thanks for your nice comments. barn:

Interseting perspective. This tree seems to be so alone in this green land ! A great shot Good WE Virginie
Excellent picture. Todd
Excellent... I love lonesome trees and I'd be a tree !!!
Being as sick as I am...I see a portrait of "Eve" undressed down to a fig leaf. And being "Adam" I stand there just waiting for the next gust of wind to come and completely undress her. Nice picture love....smiles
your title makes me think of the Buck Owens song sang by him and recorded by the Beatles."all I got to do is act naturally".gorgeous landscape and tree.I look forward to green foliage this spring
