Description
Another shot from a trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium last week. I was struck by the appearance of this fish, but foolishly neglected to find out exactly what kind of fish it is. I think it may be a kind of rockfish? I'm hoping someone can identify it...

I don't know but it sure is colorful! Nice shot!
Can't say for sure but with those eyebrows he's either related to Brooke Shields or Beau Bridges...:-)
A great shot I think this is an Oscar a member of the Cichlid family there are Red and tiger varieties
excellent shot of an interesting fish
LOL @ MrsLubner. Striking brows, yes. Worthy of a photo portrait at the very least.
Sweet... good capture.
Excellent shot and great color! Don't know the fish but it is very pretty!
my future son in law absolutely is loving all these wonderful images that you are posting as he is mad on fish and i have to agree with him this is a beauty!!! ;o))
I like it!
Oscar-an "Odd Couple" of fish...hehee-very cool fish & nice shot!
Looks like it might be a grouper of some ilk. Oscars are fresh water. This is definitely salt water. Might be a Coral Grouper.
Nice shot!!!
Excellent shot.
