Description
Tourmakeady is a quite little town in the west of Ireland, in County Mayo a place of peace and tranquility I go for rest and relaxation, here in the early morning light I went to collect a few fresh fish from the boats.. Thanks for taking time to look and any comments you care to make..

A wonderful capture. Reflects the laid-back atmosphere and tranquility of the country perfectly. Unfortunately, since becoming a member of the EU, I am afraid that some of these idyllic settings will disappear. I loved the narrow, hedge or stone-lined roads, the changing weather, and the friendliness of the locals. Your picture Danny is more than a nice postcard to me, it brings back fond memories. Now this is my kind of place Danny, peaceful and laid back, hard work done at a gentle pace. Love the winding road in the background leading up to the farm on the hill. I keep saying I'm going to have a trip over to Ireland, I'm sure I'll get there one day. One place I do want to vistit in the North is the Giants Causeway, to go and see if I can catch sight of the Giant 'Finn MacCool'. Excellent capture Danny and nice to see you are still posting and commenting. Bravo!!!!!
