Description
Category 8 Galactic Traveler "Radiant Dawn" approaching Deep Space Nexus "Nahfenkroyjenol." The Nexus is about 100 kilometers in diameter and is a major port for the Galactic Travelers fleet.
"Radiant Dawn" was originally modeled in TrueSpace and then imported into Rhino where it was retextured and rendered using Flamingo. "Radiant Dawn's" hull texture comes from Renfield Imaging. "Nahfenkroyjenol's" hull is made from a couple objects by Designfera and its texture is from the "Ajrarn Alien Textures" collection. The background was made using either Universe Image Creator or custom Photoshop brushes found in the Renderosity Marketplace.

The Taj Mahal of motherships!!! David W
You should cut back on the colors, i think its a bit overdone, considering your other work
I should have explained the concept for the "Galactic Travelers" designs. They are meant to be very abstract designs from the far future with psychedelic textures deliberately chosen to get a dreamy, surreal look. These handful of "Galactic Travelers" designs are supposed to contrast with the majority of my other starship designs that look more industrial. The handful of "Galactic Travelers" designs will probably be the most far-out / hippy-dippy SF stuff I ever do.
Ok am I tripping.......or are you??
Unique starships! :) Love how you used the Alien tex! :D
