Description
Ah....from my own garden at last!
Out from below the old twigs, and the browned and frostbitten leaves come the snowdrops.
The winter jasmine is also about to bloom, and my heart feels lighter!
Thank you for your visit and for any comments.

Oh! Such a heartfelt promise! The one we need so badly right now. I have no garden, but in the pots on my balcony the little nibblings show their tips, just about.. Thanks you so much for this beautiful shot of hope for a spring not far away.
you must be having an early spring.the new growth is always a pleasure to see, especially knowing that flowers will soon be blooming
My heart feels lighter looking at your work, Chris. A beautiful shot of the promise to come. I am checking my bulbs on a daily basis!! Lovely work. Hugs. Diane.
Wonderful!!!!
You really appeciate these little snowdrops coming up with all their promise. A beautiful render.
Looks good to me sis I wish I had greenery like that popping up in my garden I don't think so with temps of 9 degrees tho Makes my heart feel lighter too..spring is just around the corner Hugs Susan~
Other than actual cold and wet snow, what exactly are snowdrops? Please, please, I beseech you, not another species of plant I've never of heard of or seen before! Lots of floral activity and varied textures in the above photo.
Harry! You've never heard of SNOWDROPS? Oh, you poor deprived person, you! The common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) is the best-known representative of a small genus of about 20 species in the family Amaryllidaceae that are among the first bulbs to bloom in spring. LOL
nice picture...
Would love to see them opened up!! Great shot Tina :)
I didn't realize just how much I was longing for Spring until I saw this. February is almost here, and we'll most likely get more snow, but ... there's hope! Thank you so much for posting this photograph. I breathed a sigh of relief just looking at it!
This photo very much has liked to me. Five stars!
