a very good morning on what looks like being another damp miserable day :o)
first thank you on your advice for me stopping smoking .i have picked a day which is this wednesday to try and kick the habit altogether :o)..
hopefully i will be going out this week to try and get some pics but untill then this is a shot from september .the place is hurworth along the river tees near darlington .i find this a very calming shot ,so tranquil .i hope you like it to :o)..
i changed my avatar but i think it looks a bit wooden :o)

I thought it was a golf course at first haha!!! looks well kept here, and man I love these colors. have some awesome contrasting going on in this cool scenery! also the clarity on this pic is wonderful! haha a little duck in the water I spied! this is a very traquil and lovely photo Mick...just what i needed after a hards day work with 1000's of customers and registers to run. The rain has gone now for a few days and it is so tropical here now, you sweat while having a cold shower....and thats not a joke, you really do! What a beautiful photo! Before Wednesday decide on something you will do at moments you would normally have a ciggy: I sucked a sugarfree Polo! I got through a lot of them before I found there was no longer any need. And it would have been impossible for me without the patches. YOU CAN DO IT!

Such a beautiful scene, and it looks like you got your feet wet to bring this to us! It's a lovely shot all around, but the foreground is just so attractive I keep forgetting to look to the horizon. Good stuff! I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday ... And your new avatar is very nice, doesn't look wooden at all. I prefer a closer shot, but that's just me. I like to see the faces of the people I'm hanging around with. :)

So peaceful and green! I am so happy you decided to quit smoking! I wish you well in that. Someone told me that even if it takes 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 tries, it's practice that makes perfect! My mother said quitting "cold turkey" was the only way for her. Now, if only my one son would quit. My other son managed to quit "cold turkey." I know it's hard, but worth it. :o)
