thanks for viewing and any comments
I think that I heard that this farm is 30 miles from the front gate on the left side to the end on the right side
Turbines are used in nearly all electrical generating technologies, and wind power is no different. The blades — or rotors — of a wind turbine are similar to airplane blades. Strong, steady winds cause the blades, some as long as 130 feet, to rotate a turbine. The rotating motion of magnets in the turbines causes an electric field that can generate a flow of electrical current.
Wind turbines are usually mounted on towers from 100 feet to 300 feet tall because wind speed increases with height. Turbines operate best in areas where wind speeds are 16 mph to 20 mph at a height of 50 meters. Wide open West Texas, where the winds whip across the plains, is an ideal location for wind projects, also called wind farms.

much like "connect-the-dots" LOL Cool shot.
What a wonderful arial shot! We have them in Northern California and they are huge, so this scale is wonderful to see. Excellent capture. Bunny
A great pattern these make on the landscape. We have a few of these farms too though not on this scale but then we are only a very small country. Lovely shot.
Yep looks like home!
Cool patterns as seen from above..we have a lot of these here in certain regions of the SF Bay Area..
WOW cool :-)
Excellent air view!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have one like it on Whiskey Dick Mountain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great arial view. I always itch to paint what I see from the air, it is abstract yet real and natural.
What an amazing setup and such a great capture of this whole area.
Excelent aerial capture. Like a draw together "dots".
Not like the ones in Europe, where the wind turbines are all in neat row, I guess there must be some low hills for the farmers to place them in a seemingly random way ? Kool plane capture and dedication for Eric ! ~Cheers~
Now This is just Cool on Top of Cool Richard! Thanks So Much for the Info!!!
Jolie vue aérienne!
WOW!!! That's a cool shot!!! Very impressive landscape and technology!!!
cool aerial shot, excent view, impressive details !
I saw one of these blades on a truck trailer in a rest area in Louisiana. I walked over and read GE wind systems. Then later I read that Enron had sold it's operations in Texas on wind power to GE of Schenectady NY.
We have a lot of turbines now. Because we have a lot of coast we also have a lot of wind. Exelent capture again my friend!
what a shot! awesome view
wow...awesome!!!
Fascinating picture, and beautiful detail! thanks!
