Description

Well, this wasn't my intended upload for today as I was going to return to the space theme, but after adding the finishing touches to this one including spending over two hours just trying to get the lighting to where it would delineate the correct amount of shadow and highlights and since it fit the pattern of my recent uploads, here it is. Enjoy your view! Bryce, frame added in IrfanView and sharpening in Paint.Net Thank you much for viewing and commenting... Thanks for all of the comments on my recent renders, as well. It is very much appreciated.

Another cracker Keith, wonderful colours in the terrain and you certainly get the feeling of depth in those canyons in full-view. The time spent on the lighting was well worth it, I know how you feel struggling with lighting. Tony :-)

Well done Keith, the time spent on lighting was rewarded with a great terrain image and your sense of distance in this piece is excellent. Not your typical viewpoint either, most would show the canyon itself as the focal point, whereas you've given us a traveller's glimpse of how it would feel to be entering the canyon from the top at the start of the journey down.Nice job-Neil.

Bigger scene. Like the mist in the canyon. It gives it greater scale.
