Looks like you learned more about your new gear..wish you had done a longer exposure..this is a fine shot
Not all water shots need long exposure to work well, I think for this one you were spot on David. Plenty to see in this image, like the build up of deadwood at this end of the weir, the sluice gates and the solitary tree on the bank with that little bit of blue sky showing through it's branches. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
