Good finish for the first chapter. Technically, I like your rendition of a brilliant flash. I would need subtitles, I can't read Latin. (I'm guessing Latin)

thanks all, RBlue, yes that is latin (with a tiny spat of ancient hebrew). I thought of usings a gibberish font like "wizardspeak" or miskatonic. but decided to use latin, sort of an easter egg for those that recognize certain symbols. a foreshadowing of what is behind the plot.
Great effects maybe very the line effect so it's not the same in all the panels. For a first attempt you've doing very well. My first attempt was nowhere as good keep them coming
