Description
Background made in Vue X-stream and rendered in LightWave 9.3 -my usual way of doing things now-which makes it a LW picture I guess (Rewnderosity really should make a way of combining categories I think).
The realistic motion blur is really nice on the 'Thropter wings-more like a hummingbird than was previously possible.
The Keep is in the far distance.

Very fantastic!!!
hmm, I thought the Dune ships were called Thopters. Maybe my memory is failing me, its been so long. That aside, really nice job on the motion blur wings, hummingbird, dragon fly, whatever the simile, it completes the name by making it onimonopoetic. It would make a good animation.
Great landscape maybe a different and close up on one of the flyers would be good!
Great render, wonder blade movement!!!
This is an excellent!
Superb image. Simple and very effective!!! Great landscape.
Great lighting and fod! Great pw! Very well done.
I love the depth. Awesome scale.
Beautifully done - I love the feeling of space on this
Excellent work, Great lighting and color, well done!!!
Spectacular! I've been trying to model the original John Schoenherr Ornithopters for awhile now (as seen in The Illustrated Dune, and in his wonderful illustrations for Analog magazine) but I've never quite gotten them right. Yours are spot on! Beautiful, moody scene, very evocative of Herbert's descriptions of the deep desert.
Awesome Scene....!!
Very nice. The thumbnail does not do justice to this very interesting and subtle image.
Kool Dune-scape and I know very well that LW is the best 3D animation program around, also my tool of choice ! Well done & ~Cheers~
Very nice terrain and models. I also like the lighting. Well done. 5* Hugs Karin :)
