Love this shot, and the fitting quote!
Striking setting !
a beautiful shimmering picture. It's about solitude, but it's actually very full--a solitude of riches not desolation. There's a quiet greenish undertone to the photograph---this really shows up full size---which quietly blends with the small hut. But you have these speckles maybe on the lens or maybe falling snow, I don't know enough about photography to know, which make the picture shimmer ever-so-quietly as if it was being presented by some invisible messenger. And with all that depth-of-branches, such effusion, this is a kind of ravishing solitude. Full size, it is reflective & opulent at the same time. God, you're good.
It looks like Thoreau stayed the winter! "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler." (Henry David Thoreau)
