Description
I've been going through my files, pulling out images I never got around to over the summer, getting them ready to post. It's nice - I almost believe it's not cold out there!
Sneak Factor = MEDIUM
While this rosebush is near the road, it's actually up in someone's yard, and I think the neighbor was looking out the window, wondering what I was doing. Probably had the phone in their hand, wondering if they should call the cops. (Or the asylum!) :)
I hope those of you in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy this little bit of July in the middle of winter!

stunning capture and rose.I have some like this but sometimes they are yellow and red then white/red.maybe the temp has something to do with the color differences

I don't think I've ever seen a rose like this; it's just amazing. The sneak factor is always so much fun, I just might try it!!

Wow, it looks like someone has dropped paint all over it.. Wonderful looking flower & well captured :)
Great! A wintery title that made me think of candy canes, then the lovely striped rose that made me smile.........(the rose appears untouched, to my innocent eyes, but what fascinating trick did you do to the leaves?)
I mowed my front lawn today in the frost and chill winds but I noticed I still have a few roses blooming. It's amazing. Just like this shot is amazing. Good clarity and pov.
I have a couple of roses that are still attempting to bloom..but without a lot of success...nice image and work...
