Place du Tertre, Décembre 2006.
The Place du Tertre, near the Sacré Cœur (Sacred Heart) basilica, on the top of the Montmartre Hill, is well known for its portraitists. I took this picture in December 2006. Thanks to people who commented my last photo:

je n'apprécie que très rarement les peintures de ces "coloreux" (comme on dit chez moi) de la place du Tertre. Mais quelle superbe ambiance bien rendue par l'excellent parti que tu as su tirer de la lumière ambiante. De plus tu rends à cette place un cachet bien mérité parfois banalisé par des photos beaucoup trop convenues. Bravissimo.
Superbe, on y passer de bon moment, j'aime aussi flaner à regarder ces artistes des rues ;-)

Le 'défaut du cadrage devfient une qualité, dans la mesure où ta photo fait croire que la place du Tertre est immense...ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas !
Un endroit que j'ai parcouru à plusieurs reprises, toujours avec le même bonheur, et si la réputation est un peu surfaite, il n'en reste pas moins que le charme et la bonne humeur prévalent dans ce coin de Montmartre. Une photo superbe et c'est vrai , un cadrage qui agrandit la place de manière intéressante!Bravo, Marie-Thérèse!
