A pet portrait to be proud of! Lovely cat and wonderfully framed in the flowers!!
What a wonderful story of how you came by this delightful and beautiful cat, reminding me a little of my own Mistapus but with longer fur - you can see him in my gallery if you just peek - I love this image of your cat sitting amongst the flowers - Brilliant capture - hugs Jane xx
And what a beauty he is! This is an excellent shot with amazing composition! You know, they do pick you. You very seldom is the one to make a choice about a cat. :)
I know how they don't stay in one place for long...... so capturing this pose in that natural frame of flowers and the DOF accentuated by the wood, the progressive darkening behind Mrrrrr Kitty compared to the foreground....is a stroke of genious and a quick eye. Beautiful portrait!
one could not ask for a better foreground.both compliments the other's beauty.looks like it maybe part siamese
now he is a cutie ....eyes are wonderful

Great lighting effects in this capture of the beautiful feline, with its luxurious gray fur, sitting in the lovely, colorful flower bed!

Greetings, Your story is very touching and in some way similar to ours. We lost two cats, one to poisoning by a neighbor and the other to a vehicle, soon after wards a neighborhood boy showed up with a cat at our door and after eleven or twelve years she is still with us in our new home. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. egmont
