Actually, the first thing it reminded me of was the Eiffel Tower! Probably the scaffolded look, and the form of the black part--I love the way it's shaped! I'm not seeing the faces, but oh well--I do like it!

At first glance I saw an oriental king, but then the clothing looks more like Edwardian dress. Hmmm. Well, of course this is a whole other world, so it can be whatever it wants to be, European or Oriental! It is amazingly clear and beautiful!
