Eyes slipped away
Laced from the heart
Love comes from the spirit
Inside the soul it can see
Love can mean anything
Confusing to most
Untying a boot
Freeing the foot
A love for a tree
Smell the sweet pine
Grows in the wild
A friend for a tear
A shoulder for a hug
Even a boot for a walk
Narrow road can lead
That life in itself can be
Paths that feed
The soul in mind
The emptiness that cries
Dark places will see
Where ever you are
That long winding road
What hurts inside can laugh
Come closer within
Embracing the breeze
Close your eyes
Hold tight
Keep warm
Inside the soul
Into the night
A love for a boot
Feels in the holes
