Description
A test rendering; I am working through tutorials and crap with shading, reflections and such.........which didn't work to what I was going for.
I want the shadows on the car from Xaviar, and the reflections from the surroundings on it as well. ANY hints and suggestions, I'll be eternally grateful for..
Oh. Xaviar Carrion on the freebie car I got off of Daz3D.com. Damian's older cousin they call The Shadow.
The Shadow eliminates threats from the familia, the businesses.... without a trace left behind.
There have been a few entire families eliminated by The Shadow's hands. The mark would watch his family die first, before Xaviar decided to finally finish the job. Leave no witnesses behind for future retribution.

Still like that car :)
wonderful image! shadows and reflections are hard, I'm still working on them myself, but if you want Xaviar to cast a shadow on the car, you'd have to put a light behind him and turn on shadows for that light, then just move the light, either distant or spot light, until the shadows fall where you want them too. The reflections need a shiny finish, the paint on the car would have to have the shader in the advanced surface tab set to plastic or glossy plastic and the reflection amount set to however much reflection you want, anywhere from 25% to 100%. I'm sorry I can't give exact settings, it's all new to me and I mostly just play with the settings and do spot renders until I get what I want or something close anyway, lol.. This is a great scene, I'd love to see it again, if you work on it and get your shadows and lights the way you want
Thank you! I'm still trying to figure out where all of that is in the program. XD I'll update it when I get it figured out!
