Description
I was coming home for a while from work, to find these 3 beautiful deer eating from the apple trees in our front yard ... This particular day, I rushed upstairs to grab my camera and made it back to find them still there; I dared not get too close for fear they'd run, so I used the 300mm lens on this one. They would hear the clicking of my camera, look up like this for a minute, then continue eating; till they'd hear the next click. They were so beautiful. It would have been nice to get right in their face so I could capture their rich brown eyes. But this is all they would allow. :)
Thanks for stopping; I hope you have a great day.
Shari

Ahhhh Shari how absolutely wonderful to see such a sight in your own front garden, you lucky lady. I am thrilled you had the presence of mind to grab your camera, so that we could all enjoy this exceptional capture - Thank you so much hugs Jane xx
Very nice! There really is nothing quite like a wild animal enjoying your yard (just as long as they stay out of the house). Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Oh deer O dear O deer....what a fantastic find..not a bad job of keeping the camera steady, I always have trouble when I use my long lens..
What a wonderful story, almost unbelievable! You have a pretty fast reaction, great!!

Wonderful scene of a special moment you have captured, complete with apple buckets for the day's picking! Very pleasing scene, and you were lucky that they waited for you!

Beautiful captureand scene excellent.
There you go, you're making me hungry again! But I can't decide if it's venison flanks in balsamic cider, or just an apple pie. They're darn cute.
very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awwww... I love dear shots and you have so many... excellent work...
I love it!
Awesome capture of some beautiful creatures. Great lighting...the shadows give a mystical feel to the piece :D
Lovely image!!!
Fantastic capture! Sometimes, no always, it is good to have the camera within reach.
Aren't they so Beautiful!!! A Safe Haven away from those that would try to shoot them with other than a camera in your yard. Very Beautifully taken Photo, I really like this!!!!! 8^D
How lucky are you? to have deer in your orchard, to have an orchard even. Can't you turn the sound of your camera off? I can set mine to have shutter sound or no shutter sound. I found this out quite by accident scanning through the menu(I don't do manuals much). Check it out this day and age with digital they should all have this in the menu. It's great for candids you can take pictures and nobody knows a thing about it. Fantastic shot Shari, even if it was through the long lens, deer are very skittish and run at the slightest sound. I bet the arenalin was pumping so hard you could hear that. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
Lovely worth sharing the crop with these beauties
beautiful shot !! bravo !!!
Freeloading bambies for sure...looks like you had a good apple crop...they sure make colorful photo subjects..
A preferrable deer shot... Nice image....
