Description
Fishing Boats still in shelter shortly after the storm
Last week we had our first autumn storm of the year over Holland.
Due to the real storm in the middle of the Northsea we had at the same time very high water levels, the highest since 30 years.
The harbors were loaded with fishing boat, who came in for shelter.
Shortly after the storm, the first fishing boat was already leaving Den Helder harbor to return to the sea ( Den Helder is the main Navy harbor of Holland in the very north of country) !!
It was only a few hours after the high tide and still a lot of wind, to hold your camera steady was mission impossible.
Thanks for your time
Have a very nice day
Henk

Those are huge fishing boats. Best to be safe and ready to go when the weather clears. Excellent shot. Aloha
