Description

This car is nearly finished ( just the dashboard and the steering wheel ), but as I'm proud enough of my work, I show it. Special dedication for Gattone Blu, the "king" of still lives ( look at his gallery : superb works!!!!)

I know it isn't the download one because it has the whopper choppers on the hubcaps and the fishing poles on the rear fenders and says Bel Air on the rear trim as well as the little shield. It also has door locks. But ---BRANG!!! The windshield is too vertical. It think maybe the lower extreme radius of the curvature needs to move outboard just a tad. So the slope would look steeper where the glass ends and the street begins. I would not make this comment to another modeller except yourself. It is a very complex relationship with the board I am citing here. Was McKichan ever in Paris? Did he use the term "French curve" or like TV flaks did he just refer to the "sweeps?"

Tallpindo, my friend, you're right...as allways! I just looked at any picts of Bel Air. I had not enough blueprints when I created this model. This picture was just a test, and I'll make the windshield modifications! You know that You're the history cars specialist on Renderosity. So I'm happy when someone like you give me his advice! Thanks. My car will be better tomorrow. The dashboard is finishd.

Absolutely beautiful model and render. I'm more of a Ford fan than Chevy, but this is superb.

Alain, I just noticed you have been uploading,I must have my notifications off, I'm sorry... I sent you a sitemail... This looks fantastic and the model I'm looking for. I was looking for a hard top, but I can work with this. How hard would it be to make this a hard top? Let me know if this can work in poser6. I can't believe how good it looks, fantastic work, YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!
