Description
This is a fountain in one of the main courtyards at the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, Washington. I took this when I was out gathering material for the One-Use Challenge. (September 6th in my gallery.) This shot wasn't all that great straight out of the camera, so I didn't put it in with my challenge shots. This one has had a bit of help from Photoshop.

Beautiful capture..I wish I could hear it.. just beautiful color shape and textures.....
Amazing fountain
what ever you done to it, the results are excellent.the half spheres are metal?
Hmmmmmm - can hear it - relaxing :-) Very nice picture
Very nice capture.
I wish I could hear it Tara, rather than what I can hear just now. The explosion of fireworks going of one after the other, the bangs and crackles drive me potty. Wonderful fountain/waterfall, I would love a feature like this at the side of my pond. I can see a few shiny pennies in there, the colours, cobalt blue, jet black and copper look superb. Excellent capture, Ah! I hear it now. Bravo!!!!!
This is really cool; wish I could hear the sounds it makes.
cool capture, superb compo, bravo !
Excellent capture !TARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a bizarre sculpture you've captured here, Tara! If I didn't know that was water in the fountain I'd swear it was an oily mass of tar, or a tarry mass of oil. Or, at the very least, just good old fetid water. In any case, terrific POV, clarity and black & gray colors on display here.
It makes a cool semi-abstract image too--I love pictures of water, it's so interesting with all it's shapes and reflections.
A very artistic fountain and a super colour. A lovely capture.
Very Nice!
Beautiful composition.
I can hear the babbling brook without having to go on a hike with Dennis (Cosine)...so life is good. Not that I would mind spending time with Dennis, it is just that I could never keep up with him on a hike.
What a delightful fountain, and you've captured it well! Your stop-action on the falling water is my preference over the usual milky time-lapse shot.
PS and yourself did a great job...
Oh yes, I can imagine it's relaxing sound. Wonderful capture ;O)
very original !! excellent shot !!
Yes I can! I would also like to touch it! I like very much what you are doing! Marie-Therese.
great shot...
Thats very cool, I could do wonders with this in Photoshop
