Description
Located in Lubec, Maine. Tower is 49 feet tall and it is 85 feet above sea level. It was automated in 1988 much to the dismay of the keeper. It is used by the Coast Guard. This was taken in the rain. You often see lighthouses in the sunny beautiful sky with billowy clouds. It serves as a reminder to us they are there for inclimate weather and for guides.
