Description

Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image. I almost titled this image "The Twice Unfortunate Grasshopper" because of the circumstances surrounding my capturing it, lol. This poor grasshopper was unfortunate the first time because the Anole lizard caught him. He was unfortunate the second time because of me. When I attempted to get a shot of the original capture, I startled the lizard and he dropped the hopper. On a whim I picked up the partially crunched carcass and held it out toward the lizard. The lizard quickly reclaimed his meal. Bye bye grasshopper, lol. I blacked out a bunch of distracting junk that was in the background. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

So very cool. I saw a green anole eating a worm that Flannelman posted last week and now this great brown anole eating a grasshopper. He certainly looks content.Outstanding.
