Description
I haven't been posting lately, not that I haven't been tinkering around with poser though. I've got about half a dozen .pz3 files that are either half done or that I worked on partially and have since lost interest in. I'd call it a production slump rather than a creative one.
In any event here's one of the things I've been working on. Mary (Porthos) has been working on a T'Pol for V4 for a little while now and was gracious enough to let me build on what what she started (Thanks a bunch!).
I've still got some work to do but so far I like the results. That said, is it just me or does she look a little cross eyed? (though the eye-balls are both set to zero).
The lighting used here was an IBL light set that came with Poser7 and the hair is an old DAZ set that's been modified somewhat by me. I used 2 magnets to shape the ears in addition to the available V4.1 morphs.

Excellent work by you and Mary! I have found that there is a bit of a problem in the eyes of V4.1. You are absolutely correct in that they do not appear to be the same when you set them to the same values. If you click on the offending eye then move it a degree or two it will fix the problem--and watch out..sometimes they move mysteriously when you render them too! Always do a test render before you set it to final.
Fantastic work!!
C'est vraiment spendid!
I agree on the chin thing, but pull it back just a hair, If you take it back too much you'll lose that look that's her. And the crossed eyes only seem to be in the that upper right pose. I think that just might be the "bad side" for her, LOL. The central image has the eyes perfect. She looks (to me) the perfect T'Pol!
She looks really fantastic! Excellent work :)
great presentation, +10
Excellent work! You've been working on her for awhile now and I see it's been well worth it.
This is impressive.
Very cool work!
Wonderful and lovely portrait!!! Excellent done!!!
So? It took me months to finally output my last image. Weeks of doing different things, trying to work out sw problems with Vue6, then finding a work-around, and finally getting it done. Life goes on, too. So, take your time. There is never any rush to 'produce' just for the sake of producing. Like fine wines, good things take time.
Oh wow I'd say job well done and she is pure class. The likeness is amazing :) Cathy xoxoxo
So sorry about the slump my friend, but we all go through them. This is really fantastic work, the character is superb.
Wonderful character!!!!!!
Very well done... Great work!!
Beautiful work on this character !
Wonderful portrait and colors.
Terrific morph.....Very well done !!!
Nice work on those morphs. Good job on the capturing the likeness so far. Excellent!!
Excellent start for your WIP! I could tell who it was supposed to be from the thumb. You're right about the eyes, she does look a little cross eyed. I have had the same problem with my morphs. When the mesh is moved too much it can mess up the eyes. Marvelous Start! 5+
She is very cool! I would use if for sure if you ever decide to release her! 5+
What hair do you use?may be you can teach me?
