Description
Hoces (gorges) of the Duraton River / Segovia Province / Spain
This was founded by the named saint, the Patron of Segovia, and his brother and sister, Valentin and Engracia in the VII Century. In this place they retired to follow a contemplative life, there they died and they were buried.

I love this landscape, in that, you are either on the very top of something or right at the foot of a gorge. It is so dramatic and the colours are incredible. You always capture the glassy light, the solitude (even if there are others around) and the feeling that this place has been here since the beginning of time. Thanks for posting. I miss central Spain.
