The final image in my unplanned series. Again, made with Twisted Brush and, again, the shadow matte and signature were added in Photoshop. Honestly? I think I tried too hard on this one. There were several variants with different numbers of trees, and this was my final, desperate attempt to find the right balance in an image created during my lunch hour (plus a little time more). I started this image intending to convey hills and snow, but instead embraced a very limited, chilly color palette and finally, near the end, allowed the work to guide me, rather than waste time trying to get the image to do exactly what I wanted. This type of art (abstract), for me at least, is more about self-discovery than technical skill, and in this image I can definitely feel the unrealized potential waiting to burst out of my technical exercise.
