Description
Here's a soft shot for you of violets from Ann's garden. A little bit of summer to carry you through this Autumn weather!
We had a huge wind storm here tonight. Fortunately, I didn't lose power. What are YOU doing tomorrow? I'm picking up branches in the yard!

Beautiful macro great work Tara.
Precious closeup... excellent composition!
Excellent, very nice DOF.
very beautiful flowers and capture.I seldom see any here
Beautiful voilets - me tomorrow - I shall go looking for shrooms on the branches that havn't been picked up :)
Very nice composition in this splendid macro of the sweet violets, my dear. And, you captured the wonderful spiked design on the white petal with fine clarity, Tara. As for tomorrow, I have the long overdue disgusting chore of dusting my living room furniture, followed by the pleasant activity of watching the Notre Dame/USC football game on TV.
I always loved these little flowers. A lovely pov and macro.
REally love the depth and compo! :)
Great colors, lovely image...excellent shot!!!
so wonderful looking
I was going to reply last night and tell you how beautiful this image is. I was also going to tell you what I was going to be doing today, but alas, my plans got changed. All I've done all day is sit on the couch with my foot elevated because a nasty Attack of the Gout got me! Ouch, it hurts.
Ooooh, ooooh, ooooh...This is gorgeous, a shot and a half. I love the vividness of it in contrast to the softer background. So simple a shot and so effectively beautiful. Great composition and balance. Great work all around, but then so is so much of your gallery. Great work!
An excellent centring and the perfect DOF ! Wonderfully done !
Great detail. It makes me feel like I'm lying in the grass with not a care in the world!
Gorgeous and delicate!
Wonderful!!!
Wowww Taran how splendid is this DOF... marvelous!
Beautiful, DOF perfect!
Oh! I love those flowers!!! Brilliant and very sharp capture!!!
GORGEOUS!!
The soft blue light really enhances these beauties. I also love the out of focus violet in the background, adds to the composition nicely. Gorgeous!
A great macro with fantastic colors !
Congratulations for your selection in LWitG (Last Week in the Gallery – week 42-2007 ) !
fantastic colors and I really like the compo with the violas in the background appearing to be envious of the viola in the focus area. Really well done...this would make a great card! Congrats on being selected for the LWITG!
