I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone what a talented and wonderful man Dennis Reed is, but for those of you who haven't had the pleasure to get to know him your missing out. He's a thoughtful family man, good friend and a multi-talented artist. Many times he's offered me advice and provided me with a chuckle. This is for you Dennis.

Double Barrel Sling Shot: I'd like to take you back to a time when you were young and the world was filled with amazing marvels. Like for instance the day you stumbled upon that cool double barrel sling shot your Mom had mixed in with the laundry she was hanging out to dry. And you and your sister couldn't wait to try to see how far you could launch stuff with it. ( Real shame it turned out to be your Mom's best bra )

P.S. We have been told they will contact us first of the week to tell us what day next week to bring my sister Veronica to the Mayo clinic so keep her in your prayers please. Not sure how long I'll be away so please excuse me if I am not able to comment on your wonderful pictures for a while. Very funny story and image, Dave! Lucky for Mom that the kids were there to correct her mistake and make sure that the double barrel sling shot got lots of use. It looks like a fancy one too. We used to use our Mom's tape measures for tug-a-war, hanging up dolls in the closet (don't ask), and tying on any weight we could find and swinging it around. That kind of usage is a little hard on the accuracy factor of any given tape measure. Wonderful expressions and poses. I love the moment you depicted. The children are so caught up in their fun that they haven't yet noticed Mom's expression and she's just found the answer to the riddle of the disappearing bra. Excellent composition and shadows! Great work!
