Notes on Human Interstellar Society:
#3 The Other Side of Rumor
"Perhaps the key to understanding the mystery of Nemaean psychological space lies in a closer examination of the physical environment of Nemaea as a whole. As master of more than two dozen star systems, the Nemaean community finds itself subject to considerable social, technological, and biological stress. It is no wonder, then, that the Nemaean Duma, and the fleets under its command would cast an eye into the more exotic and often lethal environments of interstellar space. The dangers commonly presented by supernovae, nova/variable star flares, and massive black holes are balanced (according to Nemaean requirements) by the immense energies and resources commonly associated with such phenomena, thus the common presence of Nemaean harvester ships in high-risk systems such as 24f75 is little more simple necessity.
It is from this observation that we may more accurately extrapolate the directions in which the general Nemaean psyche has evolved. In few other locations within the Pan Human Communities are variable stars, and high-energy phenomena an intimate aspect of daily life. In recognizing this, we can see, clearly, if at a distance, that Nemaean life is bound by the exact constraints that all Human societies face and the only real difference between the Nemaeans and other communities at large is the degree to which the Nemaeans are willing to adapt and improvise."

Yeah, those Nemaeans seem to have tickled my muse's fancy.
As before, this is a complete photoshop cut and paste/render. And, as always, thank you for viewing and commenting, but most importantly, I hope you enjoy what you see.

Beautiful!:)
To extrapolate more than Alexandrg Gavrikov already has would be a tough act indeed! Sadly the aforementioned Professor (?) is more acutely in touch with the Nemeaen psyche than us Renderositeans could ever hope to be, so who am I to comment? With regards to lens flare: seeing as you've used it, you could always try another smaller one, lower right of the nebualae cloud set low and maybe 35mm? Maybe experiment with an adjustment layer (or two) in PS, or a blending layer and set to vivid light then merge down. It would maybe give the 'cloud' even more depth. Mind the overspill onto the canvas- sometimes it looks great sometimes not. If it didn't work then you could always blame me! Nice work Chipka!
