I once took something in my grandfather's store. I did it when everyone was milling about by the cash register. It took something obvious when everyone was looking at me. "Why take something when your grandfather would give you anything in here, they asked?" Years later when my grandfather offered to give me his old Dodge car, I said "No, I already have my own Ford."
