Description
There are so many Renderosity artists who live in Eastern Washington, it's almost hard to believe! This is for all of you who live in the heart of apple country. Merrylee, Lizzi & Vaggabondd, Lilbiscuit, A2J2001, PumaWalkingSoftly . . . I'm sure I've missed someone, but if I did it wasn't intentional, and this is for you, too!
I took this shot in my neighborhood here on the wet side of the mountains. (Yes, I had to sneak around to get it!) One of my neighbors has several beautiful fruit trees all down their rather long driveway. I kept seeing pictures I wanted to shoot "just one more tree down!" Nobody came to kick me out, so I guess they didn't mind too much.
My aunt was with me, and she acted as lookout. I felt kind of bad about leading her into a life of crime, but hey - she's over 70, so I suppose she knows what she's doing! :)

Beautiful light and shadows in your shot, Tara. The apples look so good!!! Diane.
chuckles I've thought of asking a neighbor to photograph their trees and flowers, but haven't actually had the nerve yet to even ask let alone sneak... YET ;-) Another wonderful shot, and thanks for the dedication.
Hey, I'm pushing 80 and I know what I'm doing, at least some of the time. Elegant texture and lighting in this fantastic foto of one of my most favorite species of apple, the Washington Delicious (please don't tell me it isn't a Delicious). Actually, picking a nice, crisp, hard, sweet one in the market can be most challenging. They often belie their appearance and turn out mushy and/or tasteless. BTW, I also like the Fuji and Gala variety.
superb colors !!
Hmmmm, must be good
You really do have adventures getting your shots, this one was well worth the danger. A very delicious looking apple.
MMMMMMMM I wish I would have been there with you. I would have talked you into stealing the apple and we would eat it on the run from the law lol. great shot
so lovely here. cool colors and taste too
a forbidden fruit shot? lol wonderful
Always good to have a look-out :o) another cool pic !!!
Oh tasty!
a cousin of mine that lived in New Mexico had a large orchard and he told his wife he was going out to care for the trees and he never returned.she went out to look for him and she found him leaning up against a tree dead from a heart attack.he was in his upper 70's . beautiful apple and capture
Beautiful! Nice capture!!!
A beautiful shot of this apple. It looks so realistic. I don't live in Washington's apple country, but I buy them on a regular basis in the Supermarket.
