Description

Well, I was sort of working today (I don't do that much, my wife is the workaholic), preparing an illustration for a text of a U course, liked the result, and realized that this too is computer graphics. It's a terrain model of central Italy, with the results of an exercise simulating the project of the Via Flaminia, one of the very first roads built by the romans, from Rome to Fano (a town on the Adriatic coast). The black line is the minimum cost path, the color swaths are alternatives that open up if you are prepared to spend 1,2,3 or 4% more than the minimum cost. Hope you like it. Application is ESRI ArcGis
