Description
I fell in love with Bloodrayne as soon as I played that first game. After playing Bloodrayne 2, I was completely enamored. Even though she was only a video game character, I thought the creators did an excellent job of giving her a background, motives for her actions, and most of all, a soul.
Then came that blasted movie. Ughh...what a way to tarnish a great thing. Anyway, when Specs2 made the bloodrayne outfit, I was ecstatic. But I couldn't capture that essence that I loved in Rayne.
Finally after putting her on the back burner for a while, I began to play the second game again. That reminded me I had started this image. Thanfully with some better props, character morphs and hair, I found the combination I was looking for.
I'm completely satisfied with this image. I love everything about it. I hope you all do as well. Lets hope Bloodrayne 3 comes out someday. :)

Very nice! Great lighting and perfect mood. I also couldn't agree more about the movie, it's a classic example of a game license gone terribly wrong in movie format. Uwe Boll has a... umm... less than fortunate reputation as a director :P

I don't know the character, but she looks convincing. I do like the lighting. Yet it puzzles me: there is a bright light from front right that casts shadows, but there also is a bright light front left that doesn't.

There actually is a second "BloodRayne" movie (direct to DVD), but I heard it was just as bad as the first one, which was atrocious (I saw that one). Uwe Boll is a HORRIBLE movie-maker. Avoid his works. By the way, a great 3D Render of the "BloodRayne" character! Nice work on the light & shadow effects!
I love your Bloodrayne images! A favorite character of mine (particularly from the comic books), so much so I actually sat through all 3 of the god awful Uwe Boll (worst director ever!) movies :P
Thank you. Yes, she was one of my favorite characters for a while. I wish they'd make a new game, they were a lot of fun. The movies were so bad I only watched one of them. Didn't even deserve to use the name. lol.
