Description
I came from Hinton toward Jasper National Park. It had snowed all day the previous day and it began to clear up. Just before I entered the park at the north end I glanced over and saw the reflections of the mountains in the water. So I pulled over and took a picture. It was taken in September 1992 and later scanned.
Thank you'll for the kind comments. I've tried to reciprocate, but was unable to comment or rate. I am new to this site and still in the process of figuring things out.

very beautiful shot and colors...hmmm just wondering, if while choosing the view to shoot I would have cut the bottom a bit more and left a bit more sky above the mountains...not sure though...just an idea...smile
To mermaid, thanks for the critique! I agree with. I thought about taking some of the foreground out, but unfortunately, I didn,t have extra sky to add. thanks again...
To tiziezzme, thanks for the avatar comment. I remember when that picture was taken. I hated the sailor suit and I hated the photographer that wanted me to smile. I learned a lesson from that. Don't ask people to smile when you are going to take their picture. Say something funny that will make them smile.

Excellent shot, Sig. I love the purple color of the mountains, and the reflection is absolutely perfect. In theory some more sky would be good, but it looks like the sky is so white that it would be meaningless. I suspect that you got the best composition that was available.
