I do remember and value that old saying, although no matter how old the saying goes... it still holds truth value! .... A beautiful photograph indeed. Love the unique colouring of the little bridge as well as the entire greenery in the background and forefront. I'm glad you got to go back sober this time to see this little beauty... but I hope you don't end up drunk as a result of crossing it.....
