Description
Vaggabondd
Our conversation,
All those months ago,
Began with
Mutual artistic admiration
And coincidental geography.
Who could have predicted
Friendship and connection?
Sometimes we meet people
Who are just the right shape,
Fill a hole in our soul.
Meeting you,
A missing puzzle piece
Clicked into
The landscape of my life.
Seeing you in person -
I suppose it
Could have been weird.
Turned out to be
Easy as pie,
Like falling off a log.
Like forever never happened.
It was good to see you, my friend.
...............
I searched everywhere, and couldn't find the thing I saw about when to use the Photo Manipulation genre and when to use something else. So I'm posting this as a portrait, and fessing up. This picture was taken in a parking lot, and I switched the background.

Excellent portrait and poem, Tara. Well done.
Great capture! I love the way you've caught the impish twinkle in his eye, and as for the background, well...you pulled an excellent switch, though now I AM curious as to what the parking lot looked like. :-) The poem is an excellent compliment to the piece as well!
Outstanding work, Tara. Your idea to change the background to one more appropriate for Randy was brilliant and superbly done. Bravo!
Mood-inspiring portrait, nice background, and well-blended with wonderful words.
