Description
My friend Tara, at one of my favorite bars in Prague. I wanted to capture the mood of the place and also render a dark, dream-like quality that captures a bit of Prague's paradoxical nature. It can be a happy/brooding city at precisely the same moment. Few places can pull that off and I hope this picture does some justice to both subjects, Tara AND Prague. Post work was done in Photoshop...just to make it dreamy and fuzzy.

Superb capture and great post work! I think you've certainly captured a very sheik,enticing mood. The blurr and vagueness of it, is superb, whilst still being clear enough to depict a particular atmosphere. I like what you've said as well with Prague being a place of paradox... seems rather enchanting, just from your words. Tara's makeup is beautiful, and gotta love the stunning jet black hair. Wonderful work!

I think you did capture the mood quite well. She is enveloped and part of the darkness, yet slices of color and light add life. Very nice. Happy AND brooding, hmmmmmm. ;']

I couldn't agree with Savage Dragon any more: Quality! The simplicity and lighting carry such intensity, and the color gives just the right mix of the moods you were looking for. This is by far one of the best I've seen in a very long time!
