One wonders what will happen once the man passes on. China had a good handle on the transfer of power and the new players were in place long before Mao's ultimate demise. In Cuba will the new government be able to handle the pressures from the outside when they can no longer call on the charisma Fidel had? (Charisma knows no morality, btw; Josef Stalin was well loved by the Russian people in his time.)
Yes, Cuba may be in for a rough time. Common wisdom has it that younger brother Raul may take power after Fidel's "term" is up. Raul is the more aggressive of the Castro boys, so it may get ugly. Thanks for looking an taking the time to comment!

highly appealing as ever. is it the first time you've been using a political personality in your art or am I wrong? I only think with this regime Cuba will preserve its ecology better that most of democracies. Way back to the times of socialism they used to think that the people of the USSR were dying daily in millions.... History is never written on Heaven.
