Description
this was my first attempt at an underwater scene
doesn't really look like water, but it's still cool ;)
Underwater Burst is the same pic, just from a different angle ;)

Guess its because of the lights.. its too uniform.. and I believe that the horizen light shouldnt be at the bottom but at the top of the picture.. the sea tends to darken as it deepnes. Have you concidered to use gels? I mean light gels? that WOULD do better.. There is alot to watch out for to making an underwater scene.. as in the simplest balance it goes off to be a twilight scene.
Oh my - I see Black is up to his good intentions here, he's assaulted some of my renders as well. He means well, but unfortunately, he often gets seriously carried away with his thoughts. I'm often amazed by such commentary being aimed at renders which are clearly Sci-Fi/Fantasy - which NEVER fall under the known rules of presentation. Who is to say that something never seen by human eyes should be this way or that way? Sci-Fi/Fantasy frees our bonds of conformity and allows us to bend if not break the known laws of what is accepted as standard. This is a wonderful and highly imaginative render - one without flaws and laws of restriction.
