Nice capture of spiders at work, hopefully they will save the tree from "bug attack death"!! OFF Topic Alert. . . There are a few fine, free for home use virus checkers Jocko. AVG and Avast come to mind. Avast works great, only requires a free email registration ever 14 monthes, and is very light on computer load. No Virus checker catches everything, so adding an ondemand one for suspecious files, like free ClamWin AV is a good idea. It is not recommended to run multiple "on access" virus checkers, they get in each others way and slow thinsg down too much. ZoneAlarm and other free for home use firewalls add anoher needed level of protection. Home owners do not need the "Pro" features, free is fine. On stronger faster systems, the slowdown from Spybot search and distroy's free real time registry watcher, TeaTimer, is worth it for the protection it adds. I recommend all home users install and use peerguardian2, it is free and made for P2P protection. I do not recommend home users use any P2P (peer to peer sharing tools like Emule, Limewire, Kazaa, etc.) as they are dangerous, but peerguardian can still increase security everyone's computer greatly. One time program's that can help computer security include SafeXP, SpywareBlaster, SecureIT, and HardenIT. The last two can be difficult to use, but all of these are run once and get more secure, they do not need to run all the time. One should update SpywareBlaster once in a while. A host file with many bad sites blocked via being set to your local 127.0.0.1 loopback address can also helps security. The MVPS HOSTS file from www.mvps.org is one of the best and is free. Download SpyBot Search and Distroy and AdAware free to allow malware scans and repairs at no charge. Also get HijackThis, but be very careful using it, best to get expert advise 1st. Lastly use Firefox with the extensions NoScript, AdBlockplus, and Adblock FilfersetG updater for all web access. End Offtopic . . .

I believe these webs are from worms, not spiders. But I could be wrong. Cool shot anyway!

Great lighting effects and textures depicted of the bark and the spider web in this very clear shot, Jock! And I haven't cleaned my place for over four months. Too much time on the computer, I guess.
