Description
This is #2, of the requested quiz series.
Want a clue? This bud is very different from the final flower.
Again, I'll post the answer in a week. Have fun!
Sorry, Tara, not hosta.lol
ANSWER. This is a bud on the 'Princess Flower', properly known as Tibouchina Urvilleana, or Glory bush. The flowers themselves are a royal purple up to 5 inches across.

no idea but obvious a beautiful flower and capture.it looks like a weed flower that I have been intending to post
Fabulous capture...bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
Well the leaves look similar to that of the Pheasant Berry - Leycesteria Formosa and even the shape of the bud itself however, the Pheasant Berry droops down and is darker in colour and less "furry"!! So, in answer to your question..... I have no idea!!! But a very well composed capture of whatever this beauty is!! Hugs xx
Wonderful shot. No idea without a clearer look at the leaves what it might be.
Very beautiful work........... Congratulations!!! Roby ;O) ;O) ;O)
Okay - maybe THIS is hosta! (Maybe I'll just guess "hosta" every time you do this! Eventually I'm bound to get it right!) :)
