Description
This was taken while at the Minnesota Zoo. I think this is a lynx but I didn't get a chance to check the little display card. Maybe it's a bobcat? Anyhow...This beautiful animal was somewhat agitated and climbing around the rocks. (Most of the animals just lie there in a trance so I was excited to catch this one moving around!) You can see just a bit of glare from the glass behind the tail... but not too bad considering the conditions and backlighting.
Thanks for stopping!
Jodie

Great capture!!!
Great shot! Wonderful light. Very difficult to take, mostily with the animal always in movement...
Very well done my friend !
Beautiful shot - -and would have missed the glare if you hadn't pointed it out. It is surprising you can get this good a shot through a glass plate.
Poor animals ... I feel so bad they are in a zoo, but this is a nice photo Jodie. I like it.
The back lighting is excellent despite the distraction from the fence and glass. It would have been the perfect capture in its natural habitat.
So beautiful big cat and very nice picture on him ! :)
Excellent shot
I love the bigger cats, and this one has that "cat-attitude." Great image.
beautiful capture and pose looks like he is curious about something up there..!!
This is a great action shot involving a fine POV, clarity and neat back lighting. The cat does appear agitated, probably from being caged against its wishes. The other animals have cabin fever from being confined in an unnatural environment.
looks like a Lynx and a beautiful cat. really a odd, I was just looking at a Lynx in some old FW zoo captures not 5 minutes ago
nice lightning, and taken at an excellent moment !
A very nice capture of the poor zoo lynx.
You did a great job even without consdiering the backlighting. What a beautiful creature he is. "Most of the animals just lie there in a trance ..." I know...it's so sad. It's like they're all on tranquilisers. :^( Glad this lil fellow was up and about. Lovely capture, Jodie. Hope you're having a glorious Monday! -M :^)
Hi ! nice shot, excelent light, bravo !
