Description
I don't know if I've ever seen a lightning display like last night's storm (8-15-08). Here is one bolt I caught while filming it. I know the images aren't the greatest but I had to grab the camera and run so settings went by the wayside. More to follow.
Thanks for Looking!

Stunning shots, Ken. It's very hard to capture the lightning. Looks fantastic, very well done!!
I am sorry I missed seeing you run with that camera. That would have been something... ah well... really cool shots. I never have gotten lightening. It is much quicker than my reactions. :-)
this is super looking. cool shots
A dangerous past time, I hope you had rubber souls on ! Weird lightning and brave capture, I wish some boffin could workout how to harness this awesome power source...maybe on day ? ~Cheers~ :o)
Hold that camera way above your head...zzzzzzttttt!!! What are you nuts?? Like Jeff said, dangerouse pasttime, lol!! I'm sending you some rubber boats for safety, ok? :)
Excellent capture ! :)
Really a marvelous capture...bravissimo!!:DDD.Hugsxx
That was so cool, and not as dangerous as may seem. What they don't know, is the storm was like..... way over there. I know, I know, they say it can still hit you. But we would have fallen into the house if it had. Being we were standing on the step... right bunny?
Yes, it was far away. And if we had been hit it might have scramble our brains . . . more. :^) In art, as in life, some chances must be taken.
Not an essy thing to capture. They look cool :)
