This is a Bee. :) This is a Thistle. :)
Postworked to death? Probably, but .. I like it anyway. Hope you do, too. Some may think it's too dark. Some may think it belongs in the recycle bin. lol Can't please 'em all can we. So, I just please myself. ;)
Thanks muchly, for stopping by .. hope your day is a good one! :)

I think this is cool! Plus, don't ever try to please all the others, you will loose yourself. I shoot it and if I like it, if it shows my emotion, then it is all good! Good work.
Awesome image!!!! Is this done in Lightroom?
I like what you have done with the background as it hilites the bee and thistle.always wondered what their name was.we have many here during early summer
This action on a photo is so rarely and difficult, Bravo!! Kisses & hugs to you, my dear!
Remarkable shot of the bee in flight ! Excellent work Shari !
hey nice shot ! with a very nice compo too ! ...
Great capture of the bee in flight and the thistle in bloom, love the postwork. It's a work of art. This reminds me of my first trip to Scotland. The thistle to Scotland is like the Maple leaf to Canada, the Eagle to the USA or the Shamrock to Ireland. It is their national emblem. On my visit I went to Kelso Castle they had thistles there five feet tall, the stems nearly as thick as my wrist. Most people label it a weed, it is very under rated in my oppinion. Bravo!!!!!
Love the texture you added to this. And why apologize for the postwork ... art is all about creativity, n'est pas?
I love what you did here - gorgeous work!
I think it's wonderful. Yes, please keep em coming.
Exceptional lighting Shari, and the bee in flight added spice to the display. Fantastic.
