Description
I got 'Ollie' from DAZ and took an axe to him last night. LOLOLOL Actually Blacksmith2.2 to morph the hell out of him, and used Wings3d to make some invader technology for him (Combo life-support/ field generator/weapon/agrav harness)
I did special textures, bump and displacement maps on him, especially the eyes to get an unearthly cross-shaped pupil.
I DID deviate from the original description, in that my Martian is NOT grey, with dark eyes! That is artistic licence because it sounded to Terrestrial.
According to H.G.Wells,"Those who have never seen a living Martian can scarcely imagine the strange horror of its appearance. The peculiar V-shaped mouth with its pointed upper lip, the absence of brow ridges, the absence of a chin beneath the wedge-like lower lip, the incessant quivering of this mouth, the Gorgon groups of tentacles, the tumultuous breathing of the lungs in a strange atmosphere, the evident heaviness and painfulness of movement due to the greater gravitational energy of the earth--above all, the extraordinary intensity of the immense eyes--were at once vital, intense, inhuman, crippled and monstrous. There was something fungoid in the oily brown skin, something in the clumsy deliberation of the tedious movements unspeakably nasty. Even at this first encounter, this first glimpse, I was overcome with disgust and dread."
I want some impressions before I go further with him. I did want something conveyed by how I morphed him, but I don't want to prejudice the viewer with predisposition to favor the artist's preconceptions.

That is cool! The only thing that I dont like much, but it's strictly personal preference, is the tube going to the nose area. Wells describes the skin as oily and I think the skin of your character is very dry, almost stone like.

He is great, but I would make the coils on his legs a bit less regular makes him look a bit like he is being used for a table setting :) Mind you, he might spoil you appetite :)

Having recieved a missive from the artist feeling I was just BS'ing I can only say in my defense that this was a reference to the movie MARS ATTACKS, which if you will recall is the only word the Martians spoke.
