Description
Captured 3/6/07 at the El Dorado Park Nature Center in Long Beach, California.
Besides various plants, bushes and trees, which are currently in a desiccated and dusty state, the Nature Center also features lakes of rather substantial size throughout the area.
Aware that water reflections are a big favorite among Renderosity members, I made a special effort to take pictures emphasizing that feature while meandering, sometimes aimlessly, through the Nature Center.
And, because the lake looked somewhat brownish, I did postwork (the manna of photographers) to blue up the water a bit.
Thanks for the look-see!

That is so beatuful and tranquil..
Lovely reflections scene and the blue skies dominate pleasingly. Well done.
I just don't know, Harry. You really explained everything so well except why do they call it Mirror Lake? LOL Fantastic reflections in the water as expected from you, and the view is excellent. Great shot!
I see you are jumping on the mirroring bandwagon -- but at least you can say it was done the way nature inteded!
An excellent capture, great reflection!
Nice work!
A beautiful reflective scenery Harry and you did a fantastic job on the postwork. Very tranquil indeed. xx
A beautiful scene, the water looks like you could skate on it! Excellent shot!
You're certainly right about the reflections! They're wonderful, and I, for one, love 'em. Nice postwork choices, by the way. I like the swoopy cloud. Nice line!
